make yourself proud #PROOF

Tags

If you are a FitFluential member, ambassador, or follower – then you’ve probably seen us all hash tagging it up with #FitFluential and #PROOF.

PROOF is a relatively new campaign launched by FitFluential that asks bloggers and fitness enthusiasts alike to show their #PROOF.

So what is PROOF and how can you participate? Here’s a wonderful description taken straight from the FitFluential blog“PROOF of a challenge taken and conquered, PROOF of endurance and inner strength, PROOF that we came, we saw, we ran our own race.”

Did you get out there and run a few miles? Hit up the gym before/after work? Add in a few extra pushups? Pop in a DVD and get your sweat on at home?

No matter what you accomplished that day (and believe me – you’ve always accomplished something), shout it to the world on twitter, Facebook, or your blog with the hashtag #FitFluential #PROOF. Show the world that you’re proud of what you can do.

YOU made it happen. YOU did the work. It’s yours to own because each and every workout is PROOF that you make healthy living a priority.

You never know, your proof might just inspire someone else to get out there and make their own.

Here’s some of my proof.

Getting my sweat on at the gym. Stairs of death style.

2 steady miles on the treadmill followed by sprints.

Getting an extra burn by wearing my weighted piloxing gloves on an afternoon walk.

This last picture is my absolute favorite for several reasons.

For one, I got up at 4:15AM and got my butt to boot camp. Remember how I said that I am not a morning person? Well, I am actively changing that.

It’s so important to realize that you can’t simply wish for something, you have do something about it. I have been talking about wanting to be an AM exerciser for far too long.

In all honesty, I’ve been holding myself back by thinking that I couldn’t do it. Sometimes we are our own worst enemies, ya know? However, this morning was different. I went to bed last night telling myself that I would do this. And I did.

Instead of telling myself that I couldn’t, I told myself that I CAN.

It’s only one day, but every day is another step towards making this goal a lifelong habit.

So this morning’s #PROOF makes me extra proud.

What’s your PROOF?
