This is going to be short and sweet! Why? Because I forgot to eat! Okay, I'll stop with the cheesiness, but it rhymed so I had to do it. I digress. The short n' sweetness is because, one: I just got back from the library and it is 11:00PM! And two: I left my library snackage at home, which equals one ready to fight for food girl! I did, however, get a lot done at the library despite my rumbling tummy! Which leaves my intro to painting assignment for tomorrow! Yes, painting assignment! I had no idea we would have homework for this class, but I’ll roll with the punches. I am hoping to come out of this class with at least one decent painting for my house. And maybe even a new hobby?
Onto the eats:
A delicious bowl of sliced banana and sliced apple topped with Maranatha almond butter. After the fruit bowls photo shoot, I warmed it in the microwave for 45 seconds and then topped it with some unsweetened vanilla almond milk. Hit.the.spot.

After my son’s glorious Magic Show, I got my stuff together to head to the library (without my snacks, grr!). On the way there I stopped to get some Starbucks for a little caffeine motivation. Inspired by this lovely lady, I ordered a Venti iced coffee with 2 pumps of pumpkin spice and soymilk. I am now even more excited for Fall, and I may just break out the Fall décor! ;)
I also inhaled one of these babies:
Which, while delicious, did not keep me satisfied for long. Hence, the speedy post and my subsequent dart to the kitchen to prepare something fast and filling. What this will be, I have yet to figure out!
Hope you all had a fantastic four-day weekend and are now ready to tackle the week!
Stefanie
Food for thought: What do you do if you forget your packed snacks/lunch/dinner? Do you let your tummy rumble or do you hit up the dreaded vending machine? In this instance, you know what I did! But usually, I try to find something decent since it's often worse to skip a meal or a snack then to eat something not very nutritionally sound.
