For any newcomers, here’s a little breakdown of what sweat it out Saturday is all about.

I show you my dedication by posting my weekly workouts.

I spread motivation by sharing motivational quotes, upbeat songs, fun new work out gear, and much much more.

Finally, I invite YOU to participate by linking to a post you've written about anything sweat-related during the week. Through your post, you can show us all your dedication and also help spread the motivation!

There is only one rule:

Everything has to make you sweat, motivate you to sweat, or accompany you in your sweatiness.

So without further ado, let’s talk about weekly workouts.

Monday – 4 miles of walking/jogging intervals

Exercise Truths

I know I’ve been on a mind over matter kick this week, but here’s another little blurb to keep it going.

Change your thoughts, change your life. It may seem easier said than done and it certainly takes time – but it works.

Get your sweat on with YOUR FAMILY!

Whether you celebrate the holiday on Sunday, you may be spending some time with your family this weekend.

So instead of escaping to the gym or heading out for a solo run, do something with your family. That way, you won’t feel guilty for sacrificing family time and you’ll get some movement in at the same time.

Play kickball, go for a long walk, take a hike, or get a game of badminton going! However you chose to get your sweat on this week, invite your family along.

Not only will you set a good example, but you’ll make family time more active. With all those extra treats around, this will be a beneficial to everyone.

I started out this long weekend with a family hike and I’m certain we’ll engage in many more active outings as the weekend progresses.
